ART CLUB
Meet me for Art Club on Tuesday mornings at the Retreat coffee shop in Ely, Iowa. Explore art in general or improve your skills with drawing practice. Arrive at the Retreat's meeting room by 9:30 for a demo, warm up, and then work independently on the project of your choice. If you have art supplies, feel free to bring them. First-time artists can use my stock supplies before purchasing their own. This is a self-led/community-based group. Please contact me for art lessons if you prefer guided learning.
Art Club Registration Required: 24 hours advance notice please, as we are meeting most, but not all Tuesdays. $10/session. 

BORDEAUX & BRUSHES
You won't want to miss this chance to learn about Wine 101, as you swirl and sip with Lauren Chalupsky-Cannon of the Secret Cellar. That's not all -- you'll create your own small canvas, an experience led by local artist Lianne Westcot. Previous participants have sung the praises of this unique art and wine event. There are plenty of summer art opportunities. Lessons will be based on availability; new and returning students are welcome!

Summer Art Session - Elementary (completed grades 2-5)
July 14-16, 8:30 am to 11 am
For highly interested young artists with drawing, painting, and special projects on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings. If this does not fit with your schedule, please contact me and I can set up lessons.

Middle School, schedule fine art lessons in painting and drawing.

Adults, Beginning through Intermediate in drawing and painting.

Wednesday Evening - Adult Art Group: Treat yourself to 2 hours of artful bliss. Enjoy working in a relaxed studio and interact with other artists of all levels. Effective warmups and/or demonstrations and then work individually with an emphasis on drawing and acrylic painting.
Cost: $15/session or $40 for a package of 4 sessions. Meets most Wednesdays, pre-register.
Friday Morning - Drawing Group: Take time out for the basics and grow in technique, confidence, creativity. Effective warmups, instructor demonstration, and then work individually while enjoying the company of other artists. Beginner to advanced welcome.
Cost: $15/session or $40 for a package of 4 sessions. Meets most Fridays, pre-register.

Youth Opportunities
Youth lessons are for interested young students who are committed to their art journey and growth. Wednesday afternoons at the studio or in Cedar Rapids on Thursday afternoons (through February only). 
Pre-register for 4 sessions, $100.
