Youth Summer Art Sessions
For highly interested young artists who have completed grades 3-7.
Session I: Mon - Wed, July 10-12  -  8:30 to 11:00 am (at my studio)
Session II: Mon - Wed, July 17-19  -  8:30 to 11:00 am (at my studio)
Each session includes a variety of projects that are fun & teach important art concepts.
$129 Each session with all materials included, register for one or both!
EARLY BIRD: $119 by May 1st
(I will also honor this fee if registering siblings)

Now is a great time to learn and enjoy art!
Register as a group or an individual to learn drawing and painting through fundamental art concepts. Media includes acrylic, watercolor, pencil, and other media. I am a working professional artist with 5 years of experience in private instruction with youth and adults. You can expect individualized instruction that makes creating art an enjoyable experience.

Adult Fall '16 Opportunities

Intro to Watercolor & Acrylic - Every Monday in October 2016, 6-8 pm. Please register ASAP.
Bordeaux & Brushes - At The Secret Cellar in Shueyville, sip and swirl led by Lauren Chalupsky-Cannon -- and a fun painting project. Yes you can do this!
Thursday, Sept 30, 5 pm: Paint your own small masterpiece!
Thursday, Oct 20, 5 pm: Gratitude project!
Sunday, Nov 6, 2 pm: Paint on wine glasses!

ART CLUB
Meet me for Art Club on Tuesday mornings at the Retreat coffee shop in Ely, Iowa. Explore art in general or improve your skills with drawing practice. Arrive at the Retreat's meeting room by 9:30 for a demo, warm up, and then work independently on the project of your choice. If you have art supplies, feel free to bring them. First-time artists can use my stock supplies before purchasing their own. This is a self-led/community-based group. Please contact me for art lessons if you prefer guided learning.
Art Club Registration Required: 24 hours advance notice please, as we are meeting most, but not all Tuesdays. $10/session. 

BORDEAUX & BRUSHES
You won't want to miss this chance to learn about Wine 101, as you swirl and sip with Lauren Chalupsky-Cannon of the Secret Cellar. That's not all -- you'll create your own small canvas, an experience led by local artist Lianne Westcot. Previous participants have sung the praises of this unique art and wine event.
